Yakuza 1 & Yakuza 2 HD Edition for PlayStation 3 to be released in November

As announced by Sega, Yakuza 1 and Yakuza 2 would be released in HD for the PlayStation 3 on 1st of November this year. Both these games would be sold in the single HD Edition bundle before the brand-new Yakuza 5 gets released in December. Though Yakuza 1 & 2 got released on the PlayStation 2 platform late but was big hits in Japan.

When the series was released on PlayStation 3 along with its third installment in 2009, Sega has been successfully released one new Yakuza game every year since then. Sega has posted side-by-side comparison screenshots on the Yakuza 1 & Yakzua 2 Edition on its official website specifying the extra details that will be visible in its HD version. In this new version, the players will be able to install the game data onto their PS 3 device’s hard drive so that the load times is cut down which precede scene changes or map viewing.

Another improvement that gets included is that save points is served as item drops to simplify inventory management; and there are menus for in-game restaurants which will help the players to mark foods they have and have not yet eaten. Sega has also come out with the first trailer for Yakuza 1 & 2 HD Edition to ensure focus on the story and cinematic factor of the game.
