Release date of Aliens: Colonial Marines delayed for PlayStation 3 & other platforms

It is a bad news for those who had been anticipating the release of Aliens: Colonial Marines as the Gearbox Software’s venture release has been pushed to 2013 owing to some technical reasons. Earlier, the game was supposed to come in the spring of 2012. There was some confusion as some people had acquired the game and had played it also. But the release was stopped and then pushed by several months into the next year. But now the developers have cleared the air saying all the rumors that are circulating are just lies.

It is being said that the new release date fixed by the developers and publishers is going to be February 12^th, 2013. It has been five years now since the first game in the franchise hit the markets and was taken well by the audience who liked to play games in which aliens are blowing each others heads. Perhaps, owing to the sarcasm of the developers in releasing the date, there are many fans who are agitated with the decision as they were eager to get their hands on the game. But the real reason due to which the game release has been postponed has not been disclosed by the developers yet.
